Dikatakan ia memberi manfaat kepada lebih 300,000 orang anak muda Malaysia. Sebanyak 243,000 kerja dipohon melalui pendaftaran online. Latarbelakang pemohon adalah seperti berikut - SIJIL-12%, SPM-20%, DIPLOMA 27%, IJAZAH 37%, MASTER 4%. Peringkat Umur Pemohon yang mendapat manfaat adalah: 20-24=48%, 25-29=37%, 30-34=8%, 35-40=4%; 41=2%.

KUALA LUMPUR, March 27 (Bernama) -- Some 300,000 people visited the career carnival organised by the Barisan Nasional Youth, surpassing the initial target of 50,000 people, BN Youth chairman Khairy Jamaludin said.
The huge turnout was a reflection of the many economic opportunities available in the country, he added.
"Many them are not unemployed, some are still studying in universities while others are already working but keen on looking for a better job.
"Today, they came to know that economic opportunities are in abundance in our country," he told reporters at the career carnival''s venue at Putra World Trade Centre, here.
Khairy, who is Umno Youth chief, said the movement planned to expand the carnival nationwide if it was indeed helpful in finding jobs for the youths.

"There have been requests from friends in the north, east and south of peninsular, and in Sabah and Sarawak, asking this carnival to be held in their areas," he said.
Among activities in the carnival, which started on Friday and ended today, were workshops on how to prepare resume and how to face interviews.
A total 650 companies and government agencies took part in the carnival.

Bro, setakat buat fair dah macam kerja budak-budak. Kerja korang patut carik penyelesaian masalah pengangguran. Letih aku tengok korang ni... aku berbelas tahun cari kerja tetap tak dapat-dapat. Apa korang tau?

Job fair tu nak atasi pengangguran lah, temukan majikan dengan potential staff.
Negara maju pun ada masalah pengangguran, bukan masalah di Malaysia saja.
So, kita pelan-pelan kayuh lah, mana boleh selesaikan semua masalah secara serentak, sedikit demi sedikitlah tapi ada progress.
Tapi, my sympathy belum dapat cari keje tetap so called berbelas tahun cari. Maybe cari di tempat yang salah atau kaedah yang salah kot?
