Kota Kinabalu: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Information Chief, Datuk Johnny Mositun said Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) led by Datuk Yong Teck Lee is posturing as the people's champion when in reality it is nothing more than a vehicle for its president's personal agenda.

"And in pursuit of his personal agenda, he will not hesitate to turn against his own friends and those who have helped him at one time or another.

"He will make use of others, and when he feels he no longer needs them he will abandon them," Mositun said at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport here before leaving for Kuala Lumpur to attend the presentation of the 2010 National Budget by the Prime Minister.

He said Yong had made a disparaging remark about one of his most trusted former party leaders who had fallen out with him by saying that this individual would one day stab the BN in the back.

"Perhaps, but then, Yong himself is well qualified to talk about backstabbing because he himself had done this to PBS first and then to the BN," he said.
